Into the Woods {and out of the woods...}

This weekend, I had the privilege of attending AIGA's Into the Woods design conference in Leavenworth, Washington (thanks Kristine!). And it was not only fun, but amazingly inspirational.

During our first break session, I sat by Icicle creek and worked on my linoleum carving for the Letterpress class I'm taking at SVC. What a gorgeous place to sit and carve!

I got to make a recycled Birdhouse with Terry Marks,

Letterpress in the woods with Amy Redmond,

And Screenprint with Jon Smith and Andy MacDougall.

There were also amazingly inspirational speeches from Steve Frykholm, Alan Cobb, Gail Anderson, Jessi Seppi, and Kate Bingaman Burt.

But mostly, I ate way too much good food.

Buffet's are deadly.

  1. I'm not sure if you're referring to the food buffet or the art buffet you had- both look totally fun and I'm very very smitten with the birdhouse!
